Rebellious interiors -by Clara Puskas
I am a designer, and I love these rooms ... why?
It took me some time to pin-point why I am so strongly drawn to them, and when 'rebel' came to mind, I knew I had it.
I love these creations because they scream " i don't care for the standard".
"I am unique, and comfortable wanting to be me, and please only myself". Below environments value the creative process of using old over new, and I dare to say, they are almost resentful to affluent luxurious .
When we rebel against the mainstream, we have to expect and accept criticism that will naturally follow. And that is not only OK, but THE true signal and assurance of being on the right path to finding ourselves and discover new horizons. Confidence, independence, respect on many levels is what I feel these spaces reflect. I am also attracted to these spaces because they are sustainable, and I will note why.
I would love to hear what you think, how these rooms make you feel. Would you be open to live with any of them? Or, have you created something similar for your clients? If yes, I welcome you to share it with me. -- Clara Puskas (:
...Welcome to my Rebellious ride!
And that is yet another strong sustainablity consideration, because the new owner will cherish and work with what we leave behind, instead of tearing it out and replace it! Rebel! --- Cheers, Clara
